NATRASORB BATH from National Starch is able to absorb and carry large quantities of oils and water free liquids. The starch is processed using methods that create unique 'pockets' that can carry the oils in a solid, powder form. The NATRASORB BATH starch matrix is water soluble. Once the starch comes in contact with water, it immediately dissolves which releases its load of oils and fragrances directly into the warm water. The starch itself provides a soft feel to the bath water, but does not settle or leave a film.
When the oil-loaded starch is mixed with the salt granules, the starch naturally adheres well to the salt. The starch does not separate from the salt in the package. This adhesion characteristic is helpful for both manufacturing uniformity and prolonged packaging stability.
