Herbal Pest Repellant for Dogs
Our Daisy wags her tail for this spray!
Daisy as a pup
2 cups witch hazel distillate
50 drops lemon eucalyptus essential oil
20 drops lavender essential oil
1 teaspoon borax (available at grocery)
Warm witch hazel solution to about 85-90F. Combine with borax. Allow borax to dissolve, then add essential oil and shake. Spray pet every 20-40 minutes while outdoors.

Daisy's Favorite Cookies
We make a big batch once a month
2 cups unbleached white flour
1/2 cup wheat germ
1/2 cup brewer's yeast from the health food store
2 cloves minced garlic
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 cup chicken or beef stock
Combine the dry ingredients in a large bowl. Combine the oil and garlic and slowly add to flour mix, alternating with the stock. Continue mixing until all is incorporated into a smooth dough.
Break dough into approximately 1 cup pieces. Roll out dough on a lightly floured surface to
1/4" thickness. Use cookie cutters and place on greased cookie sheets, about 1" apart. Bake at 400F for about 20 to 25 minutes, until browned. Cool in the oven and leave unwrapped in a cool, dry place for a few hours. Package in our cool Pawp |
