Tea Tree and Thyme Disinfectant
Use in the laundry or spray on surfaces and wipe to clean and disinfect.
Nearly fill a 16 oz. plastic bottle with distilled water or distillate. Add 2.5 tablespoons of polysorbate 20.
Add 1/2 teaspoon each Tea Tree and White Thyme essential oils.
Cap and shake vigorously to mix. Use a spray closure for mister, and flip or disc cap to dispense. |
Lavender - Eucalyptus Household Cleaner
For use on all household surfaces, from plastic to porcelain. Clean scent freshens the air, too.
Ingredients:
32 oz. plastic bottle
28 oz. distilled water or distillate.
2 oz. polysorbate 20 or liquid soap
20-30 drops eucalyptus oil
10-20 drops teaspoon lemon essential oil
10-20 drops teaspoon lavender essential oil
Method:
In a microwave-safe glass bowl warm the water for 1 minute. Mix in 6 tablespoons of white vinegar and 1.5 teaspoons of 20 Mule Team borax. Stir until the borax is dissolved. Add liquid soap to essential oils. Add this mix to the water. Cool to room temperature and dispense into spray bottles. |
