The deep, dark, rich color of this soap is reminscent of espresso. Using a small amount of freshly ground coffee beans enhances the scent, provides texture and friction and looks pretty nice, too. Makes a wonderful kitchen soap, but give it a whirl in the shower.

jojoba oil, 7 oz.
sunflower oil, high oleic, 14 oz.
palm oil, melted, 7 oz.
stearic acid, vegetable derived, 2 oz.
sweet almond oil, 14 oz.
avocado oil, 6 oz.
NaOH 8.5 oz. by weight to add to water
Distilled water by VOLUME: 24 oz.
up to 3 oz. essential or fragrance oils.
We used:
Butterscotch Vanilla fragrance oil, 2 oz.
1/4 oz. Valencia Orange 5-fold
1/4 oz. bergamot
1/4 oz. anise
1/4 oz. nutmeg
