INCI: Hydrolyzed Collagen
Collagen is a relatively simple protein, and an important building block for healthy bodies. It helps skin look firm, with a youthful appearance.
Collagen is present in normal skin. As dead skin cells are sloughed off, new cells replace them. As we age, our supply of collagen is diminished or degraded. This leads to laugh lines, wrinkles and other creases in the skin.
Applying a collagen-enriched lotion or serum to your skin will help to rejuvenate the skin from beneath the surface. Recommended use rate in lotions and serums is 1-5%. It is effective at all pH levels and is soluble in water and glycerin. It is not miscible in oil.

Animal Collagen
INCI: Hydrolyzed Collagen
Hydrolyzed collagen is derived from the controlled enzymatic reduction of the molecular weight of collagen derived protein. These proteins form clear, nearly odorless solutions in water. The amino acid hydroxyproline is unique to collagen derived proteins.
For use in shampoos, conditioners, hair treatments, leave-ins, styling products, bodywashes, body lotions, body treatments, cleansers, toners, facial moisturizers, face treatments, makeup foundation, mascara, lipsticks, color cosmetics.
This product is in an aqueous solution and should be added to the water phase. It is a low odor ingredient. Do not exceed 150F.
Use rate is .5 to 5% of batch weight.

Marine Collagen
INCI: Hydrolyzed Collagen
This marine hydrolyzed collagen provides moisturizing benefits for both skin and hair. It is derived from codfish. With its polysaccharides, vitamins and essential sea minerals, it aids in the healing and structuring of connective tissue.
For use in shampoos, conditioners, hair treatments, leave-ins, styling products, bodywashes, body lotions, body treatments, cleansers, toners, facial moisturizers, face treatments, makeup foundation, mascara, lipsticks, color cosmetics.
This product is in an aqueous solution and should be added to the water phase. It is a low odor ingredient. Do not exceed 150F.
Use rate is .5 to 5% of batch weight. Marine collagen is reputed to be the most similar to human collagen.
